UC San Diego’s engagement with Mexico continues to grow and evolve. Through initiatives that emphasize U.S.-Mexican partnerships, students and academics find solutions for issues that affect not only our communities but also the world. Recognizing that California has a deeply rooted history with Mexico and that San Diego has a vibrant population of Mexican descent, UC San Diego is highly committed to the success of our Mexican and Latinx/ Chicanx students. These initiatives at UC San Diego prepare our next generation of leaders on both sides of the border to work together.
